What We Do

When an animal is identified as needing our help, we work quickly to determine the best course of action. Whether it's a dog in need of rescue, a cat requiring medical attention, one of the famous swimming pigs that’s sick or injured, or a community facing limited access to veterinary care, we mobilize our network of volunteers, veterinarians, and local partners to develop a thoughtful, compassionate response.

We are proud to partner with individuals, veterinarians, organizations, and communities throughout the Bahamas and the United States. Whether we're coordinating a large-scale veterinary clinic, caring for the original swimming pigs of Exuma, rescuing a vulnerable dog, donating much needed supplies to shelters, or simply providing the resources needed to help one animal, we believe every act of compassion matters. No challenge is too great, and no act of kindness is too small. Our commitment to the animals of the Bahamas continues to grow as we work toward a future where every animal has access to the care, compassion, and second chance they deserve.
